Esther Mae Lee writes songs that arise from walking with God and meditating on Scripture. Her lyrical melodies and poetry give raw emotion a voice, echoing the psalmists as they point hearts back to God’s faithfulness. When setting Bible passages to song, she seeks to remain faithful to Scripture, making adjustments where needed for musical coherence.

Named after Queen Esther—who was placed “for such a time as this”—she believes her songs are birthed to prepare the hearts of God’s people for the return of their King. The other half of her name, “Mae Lee”, means “beautiful” in Mandarin, and reflects her personal journey of growing into her God-given identity.
